I read this a few weeks ago and I started getting sucked into it pretty early. Minus a few "f words" (it is British), I was really interested in it. I have never been a philanderer or had many friends who were, so it was different to see how the other half live. But I found a lot of it to be kind of sad and lonely, but also interesting to see the 20 year relationship between a man and a woman. Both characters grew and learned a lot throughout their lives and it was painful at times to watch them learn these lessons, but also great to see them come to terms with the people they were.
